DESCRIPTION: "Postwar/Prewar" Target Model Woodsman with the correct extended plastic stocks. In 1946-47 Colt assembled a few thousand prewar type Woodsmans, primarily from left over prewar parts, before retooling for production of the new postwar models. This is a very nice example of a hard to find variation, and is most unusual in having the POSTWAR type Colt blue finish! Complete with oversize 2 piece box (to accomodate the larger grips) and original numbered test target.
