In the 1930's and 1940's the King Gunsight Company did some of the best customizing available anywhere, and King customized Woodsmans are highly prized by collectors. The Woodsmans on this shelf and the shelf above show various combinations available, including ventilated ribs, barrel weights, special sights, and finely tuned actions. The 9 pistols on this shelf are all Target or Match Target Models.
  1. Second Series Match Target, serial number 22xxx-S. Very rare King Auto Action.
  2. First Series Match Target, serial number MT3xx. King full length rear sight. Roper stocks.
  3. First Series Match Target, serial number MT5xxx. Full King treatment - weight tube, full length ventilated rib, trigger stop.
  4. Second Series Target, serial number 67xxx-S. King weight tube, Sanderson grips, muzzle brake.
  5. First Series Match Target, serial number MT10xxx. King full length ventilated rib.
  6. Second Series Match Target, serial number 119xxx-S. King full length rear sight installed by Bob Chow in the 1950's. Sanderson grips. Berdon type trigger overtravel stop.
  7. First Series Target, serial number 109xxx. King sights and weight tube.
  8. First Series Target, serial number 124xxx. King full length ventilated rib.
